State-of-the-art audiovisual equipment together with an infrastructure that supports videoconferencing, all other communication systems such as satellite links and specialised power requirements gives the Centre an added edge that enhances and supports any event. All the Centre’s equipment and facilities are constantly upgraded to ensure that it continues to be competitive on international standards. All equipment is supplied on a pre-arranged basis therefore please confirm your requirements for each venue with our Reservations Office. For specialised services, we recommend a planning meeting with our Senior Audio-visual Technician.
Business services
The Centre offers a modern one-stop business centre with related support services, facilities for the physically disabled, glass-fronted soundproof translation and press booths, on-site medical assistance and security and free secure parking. Banking facilities, travel desks and bureau de change can be arranged on request and interpreting, documentation, conference organising and other services are available through the Centre’s network of excellent partnerships.
Live web streaming
The CSIR International Convention Centre offers live web streaming for your event. Using video and internet technologies your event can be screened live to a secure or open web site and be viewed virtually on any device with internet access around the world. Archiving for future reference and digital editing is also available. For further information please speak to our Reservations Office.
X (Twitter) feeds
Interested in more than just delivering presentations from the podium? The CSIR International Convention Centre can incorporate your event X feed into your venues. A hash tag is all you need and we will help you display your delegate comments, questions and innovative thoughts for a more stimulating, interactive, knowledge transfer and debate session.
